Using invisible text or blank spaces to copy and paste
The invisible text refers to the use of Unicode characters they are not visible to the user at a glance, but take up space on a document or platform. These characters are used in applications and social networks for various purposes such as Blanks Copy and Paste, such as hide information, create visual effects or even to customize names and nicknames.
Although the content is not visible, the invisible characters can be processed and detected by the platforms, which can generate unexpected effects or modifications in the display.
Examples of how invisible text is used on various platforms:

Description of used Unicode characters
Space (Space)
- Unicode:
U+0020
- Description:
It is the standard space character used to separate the words in a text. It is a visible space, although it is invisible to the eye in terms of its physical character, since it does not show any symbol or visible form.
Non-separable space (no-break space)
- Unicode:
U+00A0
- Description:
It is similar to the standard space, but has the property of not allowing the words or phrases that contain it to be divided into a line break. It is used to prevent the text from being divided into unwanted places, such as between a number and its unit.
Small width space (in space)
- Unicode:
U+2000
- Description:
A space with the width of the letter ‘n’ in the font used. This space is smaller than full width space (EM Space) and is used for precise typographic adjustments, especially in text layout.
Larger Width Space (EM Space)
- Unicode:
U+2001
- Description:
A space of a size equivalent to the width of the letter ‘M’ in the font used. It is used in typography to separate words clearly or to create a more spacious text design.
Medium width space (in space)
- Unicode:
U+2002
- Description:
A space that is about half the size of the EM Space. It is used when you want a smaller spacing than that provided by an EM space, but larger than that of the standard space.
Full Width Space (EM Space)
- Unicode:
U+2003
- Description:
A space of a size equivalent to the width of the letter ‘M’ in the font used, commonly used to separate blocks of text or create margins and spaceds within the layout of a page.
Quarter em space width space
- Unicode:
U+2005
- Description:
This space is a room the size of the EM Space. It is used when a very small and tight spacing is needed without it being as tiny as the fine space (Hair Space).
Fine Space (Hair Space)
- Unicode:
U+200A
- Description:
An extremely small, almost invisible space. This character is used in typographical contexts to make very accurate adjustments to the spacing between characters, words, or graphic elements.
Zero Width Space (Zero-Width Space)
- Unicode:
U+200B
- Description:
This character is not visible and does not take up space on the page. It is useful for inserting invisible marks into a text, such as for separating elements without the user noticing, or to prevent the separation of words or links.
Line separator (Line Separator)
- Unicode:
U+2028
- Description:
It is a control character that indicates the end of a line of text, similar to the line break. Unlike other line breaks, this character does not generate an immediate visual jump, but indicates a semantic break in the text.
Narrow width space (Narrow no-break space)
- Unicode:
U+205F
- Description:
A narrow space similar to the No-Break Space (U+00A0), but tighter. It is used in high-density text typography where a smaller spacing is desired without allowing line breaks.
Byte order character (Zero Width No-Break Space)
- Unicode:
U+FEFF
- Description:
This character was originally used to mark the order of bytes in UTF text encodings, but today it is more commonly used as an invisible space without breaking (similar to the Zero-Width Space, U+200b), but with the property of not allowing jumps from line.
